Hello, we are the Lopez-Rubio lab. We use cutting edge technologies to understand DNA biology in Plasmodium falciparum, a unicellular eukaryotic parasite that causes the most severe form of malaria in humans. Our goal is to use our discoveries in new vaccine and antimalarial approaches.

Team
We are an ATIP-AVENIR team studying Plasmodium falciparum nuclear biology. Our laboratory belongs to the Mivegec unit that groups several research groups working in infectious diseases and vectors. We are also part of a national consortium that integrates leading groups of the French parasitology community LabEx ParaFrap.Team
